The University Pittsburgh medical center (UPMC) informed employees of a data jade that compromised employee's personal data, including their social certificate number and the potentiality for fraudulent tax returns being filed in their name. The number of employees affected was approximately 800. The full extent of the info exposed has not been communicated, however, due to the tax fraud, information such as names, addresses and social security numbers were assumed to live involved.
