Pingdom living uses a third-party vendor, Zendesk, to create and deal customer support tickets. On October 2, 2019, Zendesk notified us of unauthorized access to their systems. While Pingdom itself was not targeted, this incident may have led to photograph of identifying customer information used to open a support ticket, which may include email address, social media name, or phone number. Zendesk indicated that this unauthorized access did not include data contained within the ticket itself. If you have opened a support ticket with us in the past, there is a risk that the customer info used to open the ticket may experience been shared externally. Zendesks publication did not impact your Pingdom login information or any information contained in your Pingdom account. While there is no direct action you need to take as a result of this incident, we encourage you to take precautions to monitor any email activity, such as attempted spam or phishing attempts.
